PREAMBLE We believe in the Godhead. We believe Christ is the Son of God, was conceived by the Holy Ghost, and that the Virgin Mary is his mother. Christ preached three years, and Pontius Pilate sentenced Him without condemnation, then he was crucified on Calvary, and He arose from the dead the third day, with victory over death and hell. He was seen of the eleven disciples and then by more than five hundred. Christ will descend again at the last day to judge the world. We believe in keeping the whole law of Christ, and we may present our bodies holy and acceptable unto Christ. We believe in the Christian Church of the Living God, which is based on the true word of God. We believe in attending our Church and sharing the word of God with those that are lost. In doing so, it will keep us steadfast in the faith, so let it be, amen, amen. CHURCH HISTORY The history of the Church began in December 31, 1999 in Champaign, Illinois. The Lord Showed Willie Lee Redd, a vision of ministry began in Atlanta, Georgia. A result, he acted on the call of God and moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area. The church then began in the Stone Mountain, Lithonia area. After about a 6 months bout, in October of 2004, the church was awarded the status of a Non-Profit Organization. Shortly thereafter, the ministry had its first meeting, in a meeting room at the Super Inn Motel at I-20 and Wesley Chapter Road. A few months later, however, the ministry became inactive, due to lack of funds to continue to rent the room. A year later, the church moved to 1020 Smith Street, Atlanta, Georgia 30314. The church remained at that location for seven months. But in 2006, the church had to move again due to a lack of funds. Since then, the church has been inactive. By the grace of God, the church is coming back to complete her mission. To continue what God started over 10 years ago. The church is back to serve men, women and children and the communities, so that lives can be changed over the internet and around the world as a result of the church effort in maintaining the course that God has set before her. Ministry Mission The mission of the ministry is to provide high-quality service in ministering, feeding, counseling, and promoting Christ to individuals and families by encouraging them through Christ, who have been victimized by addictive character defects and addictive substances to help them obtain spiritual healing; To find affordable housing and stable employment. As a ministry of commitment, we will do everything within the power that God gives and lead to complete his mission so help us God. |
